We often get asked whether sandbag training is suitable for a certain type of training, and CrossFit comes up time and time again. While many people are able to attend a box (facility) for their training sessions there are plenty of people who don't have that option and train from home.
If you don't have access to a barbell, dumbbells or kettlebells then the sandbag can make a great alternative. We also think it works very well in conjunction with those training tools.
